If you haven’t been to the Somerset Rural Life Museum to see Spinning a Yarn – then hurry! The installations in the Abbey Barn close on 02 November, however the Mapstone Gallery exhibition remains open until 30 November.

Join Lydia Needle for a hands-on needlefelt drop-in session to create a picture of Somerset sheep. Needlefelt is a craft that uses wool, a felting mat and a special type of sharp needle to create images and designs. All ages welcome, children must be accompanied.

Celebrating a Decade of Diversity: Bridgwater Together 2024
2024 marks the 10th anniversary of Bridgwater Together, an annual festival celebrating diversity with a vibrant day of music, workshops, stories, dance and film from many cultures, together with food and drink to share. This year’s event will take place at the Town Hall and the Engine Room on Bridgwater’s High Street, on Saturday 16 November from 10:30am to 3:00pm.
